Program Details

This is a one-year foundation program aimed to equip you with the skills to excel in the IT profession. It provides a solid foundation in the concepts and techniques required for effective planning, design and development of software applications and systems, Internet technologies, applied computer knowledge and networking. This certificate is the bridge to a higher- level computer qualification.

Admission Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  • Alberta Grade 12 English Language and Mathematics completion or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test with a minimum score of 450 in each of the five tests.
  • Students from non-English speaking countries should provide proof of English Proficiency; IELTS with an overall band of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each band, CELPIP with an overall band of 6 and none less than 6, or a minimum TOEFL score of 78 (CBT), with nothing less than 19 in each band.
